Sky Alert Weather Forecast
Although high pressure will remained anchored over a large area
extending from the upper Great Lakes to the Ohio Valley, a
developing low pressure system over Texas was gaining strength. The
high and thin clouds across east Kentucky were actually the outflow
from this storm which could be easily seen on the satellite imagery.

Meanwhile, to the south, Tropical Storm Fay lingered near the east
coast of Florida. the storm is expected to be nearly stationary for
the next couple of days before once again tracking west across
northern Florida and the southern Gulf Coast states.

It is still a bit early to know if the remnants of Fay will bring
any significant rain to east Kentucky. Computer models are in
disagreement as to how the storm will move over the next couple
days...making long-term predictions difficult.
