FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) - A Ten Commandments monument donated to Kentucky in 1971 has been returned to permanent display on the New State Capitol grounds in Monument Park.

The restoration follows passage of House Joint Resolution 15 during the 2025 Regular Session, which directed the monument’s return to public display.

The resolution passed House 79-13 and the Senate 32-6 and became law without Gov. Beshear’s signature.
